A big part of what makes La Cocina so special is Steve Carpenter – our Chef. Steve began with us as Chef at George’s at Alys Beach in April 2008, where he’s been an overnight success. We’re proud to say he is now managing both George’s at Alys Beach & La Cocina. He brings years of experience in Mexican cooking having managed Mexican restaurants in the Northwest. Also living in the Southwest, he further perfected his Mexican culinary skills. La Cocina features healthy, delicious local and organic ingredients, on our classic “tex mex with a coastal twist” menu.
